Marsha Murphy
As a Certified Residential Appraiser, Marsha Murphy is qualified to appraise properties more complex than standard tract houses. Las Vegas has more diverse housing than some cities, including multi-million dollar estates, ranches, unusual custom homes, mountain retreats, lake and golf-front properties and homes with views of the Las Vegas Strip and city lights. Also, as a member of the Employee Relocation Council, Marsha is qualified to complete relocation appraisals. She is approved by the Department of Housing & Urban Development to do FHA appraisals.
Marsha has lived in Las Vegas since the 1970′s, witnessing the city’s phenomenal growth and changes. She is familiar with local builders, older and newer housing developments, and has watched the master-planned communities evolve around the valley.
Marsha has a degree in Interior Design and worked in the field for over 20 years, primarily in residential design. Working for both designers and architects, she frequently worked on custom estates, model homes and city/county projects in the early planning stages, specifying finish selections for floors, walls, fixtures and other surfaces. This knowledge of design amenities, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and understand much of the construction process, benefits Marsha in the process of her appraisal work.
